Bolt on more power with an Egan Performance “straight shot” muffler to your Stihl 461/044/440/046/460 chainsaw for an immediate increase in power and throttle response and a reduction of engine temperatures.

Made in the USA from 10 gauge 304 stainless steel, with USFS approved spark arrestor.

We now also offer the option of an add-on Straight Shot Deflector Extension. Please see the product description for additional information.

Upon installation, the saw will need recalibrated or carb will need retuned.

As a special note for this model, the bracket that holds the OEM fire screen needs trimmed or bent for proper fitment of the straight shot cover: Picture showing a screwdriver pointing to the fire screen that needs to be bent or trimmed

A noticeable increase in power for my 440. It also was not that much louder just sounds much better.

First off , The build quality is superb
Secondly, shipping was extremely fast.
Last but not least. After installation and some time on the tachometer (13,620 to 13,680) this saw woke up more than I had expected. No lag in the cut ! Truthfully I don’t think it’s obnoxious loud . I did leave the exhaust baffle in so maybe that is why. My neighbor got one directly after mine for his 362 . It’s really loud but sounds so damn good and saw runs better IMO.will be purchasing a filter and Straight Shot for my 500i soon!
