Upon installation, the saw will need recalibrated or carb will need retuned.

Absolutely love the straight shot exhaust and 3 point dogs. Before the upgrades I felt like Tim the tool man Taylor. But after the upgrades I instantly felt like Donald trump. Since then I have been wheelchair bound due to the huge testicles I have developed. The Egan straight shot is also great for the older fellas.
My 78 year old neighbor stopped by the other day and asked me to shut the saw down. I asked why, He said he could hear it from his house. He told me he hasn’t had an stiffy in 25 years and can’t get it to go down while the saw was running. He lives 7 miles from me…
In closing, it really woke the saw up, throttle response has improved and seems to have more power and sounds great.
Muffler cover doesn’t fit. Excessive grinding required on factory muffler, and bolt holes don’t line up. Bark Box works the same, and it fits as advertised, with much less grinding. The straight shot is a $80 paper weight.
The spark arrester keeper and bolt of the straight shot interfere with the saw muffler. I took a cutoff wheel/grinder to the tabs/screen on the factory muffler, and still it’s far from fitting. Really disappointed in this product.
