Bolt on more power with an Egan Performance “straight shot” muffler to your Stihl 500 chainsaw for an immediate increase in power and throttle response and a reduction of engine temperatures. 

Made in the USA from 10 gauge 304 stainless steel, with USFS approved spark arrestor.

Received my straight shot sooner than expected, that was a plus. Slapped it on in 5 minutes, came with bolts with thread locker. Fired my saw up and it sounds great. I run a 32" bar with full comp square ground chain. The throttle response is better. Buried the bar into a fir dogged in. The torque increase is noticeable and the cut speed is 20-30% better. I'll be ordering these for every new saw I get. Oh big plus can remove spark arrester to clean or replace

Egan Performance Filter and Staright Shot on my 500i

Just put an Egan Straight Shot muffler and Performance Filter on My 500i and i just cant believe how much just adding those parts makes a difference in performance, Just like my 462 the 500i woke up and is a beast, Thanks again Jason for some Awesome Products.
