Bolt on more power with an Egan Performance “straight shot” muffler to your Stihl 500 chainsaw for an immediate increase in power and throttle response and a reduction of engine temperatures. 

This straight shot now includes an integrated and welded deflector extension.  

We do still offer the optional add-on Straight Shot Deflector Extension for the prior version of this straight shot.  Please see the product description for additional information.

Made in the USA from 10 gauge 304 stainless steel, with USFS approved spark arrestor.

Upon installation, this saw will tune itself.

JUST AWESOME!

These straight shots are amazing for what they are! Throttle response is great on these stock saws but definitely better with the straight shot. More torque. My stihl dealer was kind of on the fence about them. After toying around with mine, he asked me to order him one for his 500i!! Spikes, air filtration and straight shots on all my saws. Definitely LOUD but they are AWESOME! Wouldn't cut without them.

Great Quality and Design

I actually haven't used mine yet but I bought the same Straight Shot for my son's 500i so I am sure it will work the same for my 500i. He likes his and like the performance gain. I also like the updated version that has welded deflector the one I got for my son has the two pieces with the deflector being seperate.

Really well made

Pleasantly surprised at how well made this is. Welds look awesome. Thick stainless steel, you know this thing can take a beating. Super loud even on idle. Not sure if it made any noticeable difference on a stock ms500i but will give it some time to prove its self.
