Bolt on more power with an Egan Performance “header pipe" to your Stihl 261 chainsaw for an immediate increase in power and throttle response and a reduction of engine temperatures.

Independent dyno sheets show an increase of 6% in horsepower and maintaining more power throughout the rpm range. Please check out the dyno sheet below.

This pipe is compatible with all 261s with an adjustable carb, and only with V3 mtronics. Version 1&2 of the mtronic will not flow enough fuel to support the pipe. Running this pipe with V1&2 mtronic may lead to a lean seizure of the saw. Please look at below pictures to determine which mtronic version you have before ordering. The mtronic version is shown on the sticker which is located on the pistol grip as shown in the pic.

We recommend using orange loctite when install this pipe. The header pipe will get hot and can cause burns if it contacts your skin or clothing. We will not assume liability for misuse or negligence. The header pipe does not include a spark arrestor.

Made in the USA from stainless steel

Upon installation, the carb will need retuned or recalibrated.

5 stars, this little pipe is Sweet. Peps up a 261 for sure.

The pipe quality fit and function is on point. Very nice craftsmanship,as well as a performance gain.Dyno didn't lie torque is higher, and throttle response is great. A bit loud as would be expected, but very fun to run.

Loud but Good

I installed two Stihl 261 exhausts on my 261’s, fit is perfect and lightweight. Saws are considerably louder but also much stronger. Noticeable increase in torque in the midrange and also HP on the top end.

Makes a 50cc lightweight saw feel like a 60cc saw!

Very nice pipe indeed.

I installed this pipe on a recently purchased ported 261M3 from Madsens & it is a great performance match. Apon opening the packaging I immediately noticed that this was the real deal. I'm hard to please on quality & this pipe actually exceeded expectations. It is superbly built. Everything aligned just right on install. My throttle response is even better on this already pocket rocket. It is loud, but non issue for those of us that wear protection. I will now switch my other mufflers to Egan, 026, 044 10mm version, etc.. I also received this pipe in 2 days from purchase. Thanks EPS for building a standup product with superb customer service.
