EPS Straight Shot Muffler - 362/400

Observe the dyno sheet! Exhaust gets out FAST! Throttle response on the 400c is quick to begin with, it’s even faster now! It HAS to be assumed that it is loud, it just goes with the territory when performance is involved. Manufacturers have to have mufflers of a certain type to satisfy emissions and noise levels, the aftermarket does not. That’s WHY gains like this can be had for very little screwing around. Close to .5 HP with a bump in torque and a higher wider power curve…it’s a no-brainer people.
One more thing…I have seen MULTIPLE people on YouTube doing the version 3 M-tronic reset INCORRECTLY! RTFM, make SURE to do it right to make this mod what it’s meant to be.

The installation was pretty simple. I installed the muffler on my MS 400 and did the auto tune right after. The throttle seemed much more responsive after. I can't say for sure that there was a difference in performance as I only use my saw for firewood and I didn't do a true before and after test. It seemed to cut faster, but I can't say for sure. I ended up taking it off and putting the stock muffler back on due to how loud it was even with hearing protection. This muffler is intended to be loud, so its no fault or criticism of the strait shot, just a preference thing. The build quality is great and its defiantly a solid part.
