This pre-oiled Uni Filter CF 0690 (made in Australia) replacement air filter fits Egan Performance Saws filter cages for Stihl 500/661 and Various Stihl models (044/440, 046/460, 461, 650, 660, 084, 088/880, and 881 - made in USA).  Testing has shown that when properly installed the Uni Filter does a better job of filtering out fine particulates than the OEM filter, while also improving performance. Please limit 4 per order.

One Uni Filter is included with the Egan Performance Air Filter Kit.

Expensive solution

It’s difficult to stretch the foam filter to completely cover the bottom of the cage. Possibly due to that there was sawdust under the filter in first use. I cut the dead wood out of one willow tree and bucked some and the filter already needs to be cleaned after one use. Seems expensive and cumbersome and I’m wondering if the o-ring and some grease under the OEM filter would be enough to solve the fines under the filter problem. That would be a lot less expensive and time consuming

Backup air filter

I picked up one of the Uni pre-oiled filters to always have a clean and ready to go backup filter. They work great and seemed to last really well. P&C still looking almost brand new. Great product and great service from Egan.

Good filter

40yrs of Timber falling this is a good after market filter just take it off the cage and knock it off in between a full clean these are good filters in this dusty ole fiber Redwood country.
