So I ordered the Egan Performance pipe and installed it on my Echo 2511t, unfortunately I don’t know how to tune the carburetor now that I have added the new pipe. I have gone to two small engine shops and the first pretty much told me to change it back to oem muffler and leave it alone, second place is asking me what rpm it should be at with the change and I don’t have a clue what they are talking about. I thought they would know how to tune it and get it done. With all the questions, expensive price estimate and 3 week turnaround time it seems like they just don’t want to work on it. Maybe I will have to send it back and leave it stock.
Sorry to hear that you have run into problems with local business that aren't willing/able to help you tune your 2511. There is a tuning video on the Egan Performance Saws facebook group under the 'Featured' section that was made by Gary Buxton you could check out to help you with this issue.
This thing absolutely rips
Great product. Sounds and performs better than expected. It is loud. I would reccomend this exhaust. I purchased another one for my other saw. It does require minor modifications to fit.
Ordered for an Echo Clone (Holzfforma JonCutter G2511). Fit great, manufactured great, if you order for this saw you have to modify the exhaust cover but that's unrelated to the quality and build of this exhaust!
