EPS Straight Shot Muffler - 381/038/380/382

This thing is awesome. Super thick plate steel, great welds, removeable mesh screen. Comes with 2 longer screws for the top holes since the plate steel is like 1/4" thick. You could knock someone out with this thing. The sound is mean and the saw seems way more snappy now. Great mod to add to the saw.

Noticeable power increase and response on the ms381. Only minor tweak on the high mixture screw and its running perfect

Originally had got the wrong aftermarket muffler shell,but after email to Egan, Jason responded immediately and got me on the right track. Once I got the correct one,and got it back together, I am just astounded by the increase in performance. Sounds totally bad ass too, but that is just icing on the cake. Thanks for making a great product and even better support! I wanted to try it out on this saw first before using on the rest of my Stihls. I will definitely be getting more!

Have not gotten the chance to run it in a log yet. Noticed a lot better response in the throttle after having the saw tuned. Deflector works as well where the exhaust will be deflected away from the bar. Definitely recommend using the deflector with straight shot. Thank you Jason Egan.

Purchased an aftermarket Chinese 038/380 muffler that fit right on my old Stihl 038 Magnum 2 I, then proceeded to remove the baffle and install the Egan Straight shot, and let me tell you it awakened a beast in that saw.
I highly recommend if you own a 038 super, Magnum or Magnum 2 you need to get one of these.. you won't be disappointed
