Bolt on more power with an Egan Performance “straight shot” muffler to your Stihl 661 chainsaw for an immediate increase in power and throttle response and a reduction of engine temperatures. 

Made in the USA from 10 gauge 304 stainless steel, with USFS approved spark arrestor. 

We now also offer the option of an add-on Straight Shot Deflector Extension.  Please see that products description for additional information.

Upon installation, the saw will need recalibrated or carb will need retuned.

Muffler Mods a Treat

I modified the muffler with the new straight shot along with the air filter upgrade and this has made the saw more responsive, quite a noticeable increase, I would recommend this modification to all Stihl saws.

Really liked my 661 before the upgrade, but now I love it!! If you’re on the fence just buy it, you won’t be disappointed! Sounds mean and chews threw big wood even faster! Great quality, great company, highly recommend!
