It seems silly to think that something as small as this would have such a big improvement!

This part has definitely changed the saw for the better, louder for sure, quicker throttle response, and seems to have more low end torque now. I’m running a 25” bar and it pulls it now better than ever along with running cooler.

One thing you must do is the recalibration you can find it online.

Observe the dyno sheet! Exhaust gets out FAST! Throttle response on the 400c is quick to begin with, it’s even faster now! It HAS to be assumed that it is loud, it just goes with the territory when performance is involved. Manufacturers have to have mufflers of a certain type to satisfy emissions and noise levels, the aftermarket does not. That’s WHY gains like this can be had for very little screwing around. Close to .5 HP with a bump in torque and a higher wider power curve…it’s a no-brainer people.
One more thing…I have seen MULTIPLE people on YouTube doing the version 3 M-tronic reset INCORRECTLY! RTFM, make SURE to do it right to make this mod what it’s meant to be.
